Prospect Farm: Shelter from the storm

In February 2021, the UK was bang in the middle of another wave of COVID. It was also in the middle of its third national ‘stay at home’ lockdown in nine months.

With a late February turning into a late winter week of storms, wind and rain, as part of a photography course project I decided to document my mum’s house as a shelter from the storm both in the literal and figurative sense. The aim of the project to capture the ‘snug’ feel of the home in contrast to the harsh winter surroundings, the circumstances of the pandemic and how it was a ‘shelter from the storm’..
